I don’t know what’s going on, but I’ve been finding things. Hundred dollar bills. A cell phone.
As we were leaving the mall- and yes, my exams are in a few days (again) but I did have to pick up my computer from the Apple store- I was opening the door to leave and happened to glance down to see a cell phone. I called the last few numbers dialed so the person knows their phone is at the mall security. But really, I feel pretty lucky right now. Maybe I’ll stumble across a kick ass score on physio…?
Of note, reading is the best study method. For me, that is. According to biochemistry. I guess we’ll see how it goes with physio, but I think this is far more effective than flashcards or my former method (talking to myself till I could repeat the page). And far less time consuming. I do remember some of my friends telling me that if they knew how much reading was involved in med school, they would have rethought the whole thing. But I’ve always been a book worm (there are family pictures of everyone smiling, and me with a book in front of my face) so take my advice with a grain of salt.
For the girls: just another reason to love Madewell- they will take down your name, size, and number and give you a call when your favorite item (that you can’t afford) goes on sale. Haven’t run into another store willing to do that! (Yes, while at the mall picking up my computer, I might have bought this skirt…)

It always bugs me when people say, “if I had known {insert anything here} about med school, I never would have done it…” If they are being sarcastic, fine. However, I have heard it said seriously, way too often. C’mon people, you should feel privileged to be in this profession!
Anyway, awesome luck, and good luck on you exams!
Right? I feel the same! And thank you very much
Wait until five years out of residency, see if you feel the same.
Wait, so we don’t get the story about how you found a Benjamin?
Of course I wrote all about that
