A few weekends ago (or last weekend? I have no sense of time anymore), I called my dad and he told me that he was at the Woodward Dream Cruise. Yes, the largest one day celebration of classic cars that attracts over 1 million people and 40,000 cars. I thought it was odd because, “Don’t they usually hold that in the summer?”
So, newsflash, it’s still August. But like I tried to convey before, all sense of time is warped when you’re in med school. I haven’t left my apartment in a week.
Also, I’ve concluded that whoever named the cephalosporins did so solely to inflict pain on second year medical students.
But really. I’ve asked many friends (and residents) and they did tell me I actually do need to know this so… I’ll stop complaining.
But one last parting gift… Why did you choose to go into medicine?
Onwards and upwards. First pharm exam Monday! (Also, mad respect for PharmD’s. I much prefer some good ol’ bio.)
